The centre offers the following facilities for social events and children’s parties.

The Narthex
This room holds around 100 people but only 60 seated at tables, it has a stage and kitchen facilities. There are tables for sixty people and chairs for around one hundred.

Children’s parties, held in one room only, that finish before five o’clock in the evening are charged at £20 per hour plus a £15 caretaking fee.

The lounge
Has a capacity of around thirty people and has an area where self bought drinks can be dispensed to invited guests.

We have no bar licence so therefore alcohol brought in cannot be sold. This room also offers a quieter area for guests to talk.

Overall there is a capacity for 130 people however toilet facilities dictate no more than 100 people at a social event.

The kitchen
Hot water, fridge, freezer, a domestic oven, a commercial size warming-oven and a plumbed-in hot water urn.

Hiring and Charges
The kitchen, lounge and Narthex are available for hire as a package.
All day charge is £350 plus £200 returnable deposit.
After 5 pm the charge is £200 with a returnable deposit of £200.
The grass area outside may also be available at an additional charge of £50

The centre is only available for hire on a Saturday and we cannot offer Friday   evening access. A deposit is required within three days of booking and the total hire charge paid at least two weeks before the date of the event. If the event is cancelled then the deposit is returned only by the discretion of the management committee.

All functions must end at eleven pm., with an hour allowed for clearing up. It is the hirer’s responsibility to leave the place clean and tidy. This includes all outside areas. If the premises are not vacated by midnight the extra cost of caretaking will be withheld from the deposit. The same applies if the place is not left clean and tidy after use.
