The Hill > Park > Young Friends

The Young Friends' Group has been running for some months now, funded originally by a grant from Capital Community Foundation.

We were extremely fortunate to find two young, enthusiastic volunteers who have done a wonderful job developing activities and events.

Through a series of purchases, they have left us with a stock of items which we can use for future events.

We wish them well as they move on with their careers and they have our heartfelt thanks for all the hard work they have put in to get the group off the ground.

We hope to consolidate the group in the coming year, with the help of local people, so that local youngsters grow up with a strong sense of ownership of the wonderful resource our beautiful park offers.
