Street robberies:
There has been two mugging incidents in Jerningham Road and one in Waller Road, all of which took place in the early hours of the morning. The attacks came from behind. So please take extra care at that time of night and consider getting a cab to your door and having your house keys ready at hand.

Attempted burglaries:
There have been a few attempted burglaries were screwdrivers have been used to try and jemmy open windows at the rear of the premises. Police advice is to have good solid locks to the windows and make sure all windows are securely locked even if you are leaving the house for 5 minutes.  Make sure in the hot weather that you close your windows before you leave your premises. Remember most burglars are opportunists.

Vehicle crime:
There has been a spate of vehicle crime, but this is all over the borough.  If you can fix a crook lock to your steering wheel, or buy a clamp, then that is a good deterrent to stop would be car thieves.  Don't leave anything in view so that a window can be smashed to get to it.

The park has been quite good.  There have been police patrols assisting the park keepers. However, there have been some complaints from the top park that kids are riding mini motorcycles up there at night. Glendales are aware of the complaints and are looking into it.
